Our history
The Caisse populaire des employés civils provinciaux de Québec was founded in 1939. Ten years later, the Caisse announced it was providing services to all civil servants in Quebec.
To reflect its provincial mandate, the Caisse changed its name to Caisse populaire des fonctionnaires du Québec in 1964.
It wasn't until 1972 that the Caisse moved its head office to the Marie-Guyart Building, commonly known as Complexe G.
Twenty-eight years later, in 2000, the Caisse des fonctionnaires du Québec merged with the Caisse populaire des travailleurs de l’enseignement de Louis-Fréchette. In 2002, the Caisse d’économie des employés de la SAQ joined the Caisse des fonctionnaires du Québec.
In 2007, the Caisse d’économie de Canipco merged with the Caisse du personnel de l’Administration et des Services.
The Caisse is now known as the Caisse de l’Administration et des Services publics and serves all employees and retirees of the provincial and federal public services, SAQ and Resolute Forest Products.
