Our commitment
The Organisation québécoise des personnes atteintes de cancer (OQPAC) has been a partner of the Caisse Desjardins de l'Administration et des Services publics since 2020.
The Caisse’s financial support enables the OQPAC to offer a wider range of wellness sessions to its members.
Our involvement

- Help the organization pursue its mission and carry out its structuring projects
Description
OQPAC has been contributing to the well-being of people affected by cancer and their caregivers for over 35 years. The organization offers personalized services and community activities based on cordiality, listening, mutual aid and solidarity, aimed specifically at cancer patients and their loved ones.
They offer direct services for the well-being of its members. These include sophrology (a complementary program to medical treatments), kinesiology (physical activities adapted to people with cancer), oncology yoga and individual consultation services.
The organization remains accessible, offering walk-in and discrimination-free services with a concern to accompany people on their journey with the disease. It is committed to providing the help they need to improve their quality of life. The organization has contributed to over 1,600 interventions or referrals in the past year.
Their mission
To offer professional and personalized services based on support, mutual aid and accompaniment, specifically aimed at people with cancer and their loved ones, mainly in the Capitale-Nationale Region, from Portneuf to Charlevoix.
Their vision
OQPAC's front-line services include acceptance, attentiveness, guidance, and reference to other resources as needed. These are complemented by activities that promote well-being through solidarity, relaxation, confidence, and friendship.
